  • 60 ml Extra virgin olive oil
  • 2 large Garlic cloves
  • 3 medium Tomatoes
  • 10 leaves Fresh basil leaves
  • 200 grams Fresh mozzarella cheese
  • 0.5 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon Black pepper

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F).

Step 2

Slice the baguette diagonally into 12 slices, each approximately 1 cm thick.

Step 3

Arrange the slices on a baking sheet and brush each slice with extra virgin olive oil on both sides.

Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and toast the bread for about 5 minutes, or until the slices are golden brown and crisp.
