Ingredients

  • 1 pound Ground beef
  • 1 medium Yellow onion, diced
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 2 cups Beef broth
  • 1 10.5-ounce can Cream of mushroom soup
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Paprika
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 1 cup Sour cream
  • 8 ounces Egg noodles
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh parsley, chopped (optional, for garnish)

Directions

Step 1

In a large skillet over medium-high heat, brown the ground beef until fully cooked. Drain any excess grease and transfer the cooked beef to the crockpot.

Step 2

In the same skillet, sauté the diced onion until softened, about 3-4 minutes. Add the minced garlic and cook for an additional 30 seconds. Transfer the onion and garlic mixture to the crockpot.

Step 3

Add the beef broth, cream of mushroom soup, Worcestershire sauce, paprika, salt, and black pepper to the crockpot. Stir everything until well combined.

Step 4

Cover the crockpot with the lid and cook on low for 4-6 hours, stirring occasionally to ensure everything is well-mixed.

Step 5

About 20 minutes before serving, bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook the egg noodles according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.

Step 6

After 4-6 hours of cooking, stir the sour cream into the stroganoff mixture in the crockpot. Taste and adjust seasoning as needed.

Step 7

Serve the hamburger stroganoff over the cooked egg noodles. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired.
