Directions

Step 1

Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and add olive oil.

Season the beef roast with salt and black pepper. Sear the meat in the skillet for 2-3 minutes on each side until browned. Remove from skillet and set aside.

In the same skillet, sauté the onion, celery, and garlic for 2-3 minutes until fragrant and slightly softened.
