Ingredients

  • 12 ounces Egg noodles
  • 12 ounces Canned tuna (drained)
  • 2 cans Cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 cup Milk
  • 1 cup Frozen peas
  • 1 cup Shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 small Onion (diced)
  • 0.5 teaspoons Garlic powder
  • 0.5 teaspoons Salt
  • 0.25 teaspoons Black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons Butter
  • 0.5 cups Breadcrumbs (optional, for topping)

Directions

Step 1

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook the egg noodles for 2 minutes less than the package's recommended cooking time. Drain and set aside.

Step 2

In a medium skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the diced onion and cook until translucent, about 3-4 minutes.

Step 3

In a large mixing bowl, combine the cream of mushroom soup, milk, cooked onions, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix thoroughly.

Step 4

Gently fold in the cooked egg noodles, tuna, frozen peas, and shredded cheddar cheese until evenly combined.

Step 5

Lightly grease the inside of a crock pot with non-stick spray or a thin layer of butter.

Step 6

Transfer the tuna noodle mixture into the crock pot, spreading it out evenly.

Step 7

If using breadcrumbs, sprinkle them evenly over the top of the mixture for a crispy topping.

Step 8

Cover and cook on low heat for 3 hours or until the casserole is hot and bubbly.

Step 9

Serve immediately and enjoy!
