Ingredients

  • 10 ounces Frozen spinach, thawed and drained
  • 14 ounces Artichoke hearts, drained and chopped
  • 8 ounces Cream cheese, softened
  • 0.5 cups Sour cream
  • 0.25 cups Mayonnaise
  • 1 cups Shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 0.5 cups Grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cloves Minced garlic
  • 0.5 teaspoons Salt
  • 0.25 teaspoons Black pepper
  • 0.25 teaspoons Crushed red pepper flakes (optional)

Directions

Step 1

Begin by preparing the spinach. Thaw the frozen spinach and press it with a clean kitchen towel or paper towels to remove any excess moisture. Set aside.

Step 2

Chop the artichoke hearts into small, bite-sized pieces and set aside.

Step 3

In a large mixing bowl, combine the cream cheese, sour cream, mayonnaise, mozzarella cheese, Parmesan cheese, minced garlic, salt, black pepper, and crushed red pepper flakes (if using). Mix until all ingredients are well incorporated.

Step 4

Fold in the drained spinach and chopped artichoke hearts into the cream cheese mixture. Stir until evenly distributed.

Step 5

Transfer the entire mixture to a crock pot (slow cooker) and spread it out into an even layer.

Step 6

Cover the crock pot and cook on LOW for 2 hours, stirring after the first hour to ensure the cheese melts evenly.

Step 7

Once the dip is hot and bubbly, give it a final stir and taste to adjust seasonings if needed.

Step 8

Serve the dip warm directly from the crock pot or transfer it to a serving dish. Pair with tortilla chips, crackers, or a selection of fresh vegetables for dipping.
