Ingredients

  • 2 lbs Pork tenderloin
  • 2 tbsp Olive oil
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 0.5 tsp Black pepper
  • 1 tsp Garlic powder
  • 1 tsp Onion powder
  • 1 tsp Paprika
  • 1 tsp Dried thyme
  • 2 tbsp Honey
  • 2 tbsp Soy sauce
  • 1 cup Chicken broth
  • 4 cloves Minced garlic
  • 1 tbsp Cornstarch
  • 2 tbsp Water

Directions

Step 1

Pat the pork tenderloin dry with paper towels.

Step 2

In a small bowl, combine salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, and dried thyme. Rub this seasoning mixture all over the pork tenderloin.

Step 3

Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and add olive oil. Sear the pork tenderloin on all sides until browned, about 2 minutes per side. Remove from the skillet and set aside.

Step 4

In the crock pot, whisk together honey, soy sauce, chicken broth, and minced garlic. Add the seared pork tenderloin to the crock pot, ensuring it is coated well with the sauce.

Step 5

Cover the crock pot with a lid and cook on LOW for 6-8 hours or on HIGH for 3-4 hours, or until the pork is fully cooked and tender (internal temperature should reach 145°F).

Step 6

Once done, remove the pork tenderloin and let it rest for 5-10 minutes before slicing.

Step 7

To make a sauce, transfer the liquid from the crock pot into a saucepan. In a small bowl, whisk together the cornstarch and water to make a slurry, then pour it into the saucepan.

Step 8

Simmer the sauce on medium heat until it thickens, about 3-5 minutes. Stir occasionally.

Step 9

Slice the pork tenderloin and serve with the sauce drizzled on top. Pair with your favorite side dishes like mashed potatoes, roasted vegetables, or a fresh salad.
