  • 1 pound Ground Italian sausage
  • 1 medium Onion, diced
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 24 ounces Pizza or marinara sauce
  • 6 ounces Pepperoni slices
  • 3 cups Shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 2 cups Shredded cheddar cheese
  • 12 ounces Egg noodles
  • 2 tablespoons Butter
  • 1 medium Green bell pepper, diced (optional)
  • 0.5 teaspoons Crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 0.5 teaspoons Salt
  • 0.5 teaspoons Black pepper

Directions

Step 1

Cook the egg noodles according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and toss with the butter to prevent sticking. Set aside.

Step 2

In a large skillet, cook the ground Italian sausage over medium heat until browned and fully cooked. Drain any excess grease.

Add the diced onion and minced garlic to the skillet with the sausage and sauté until softened, about 3-4 minutes.
