Ingredients

  • 1.5 pounds Ground beef
  • 0.5 pounds Ground pork
  • 1 large Egg
  • 0.5 cups Panko breadcrumbs
  • 0.25 cups Milk
  • 1 cups Shredded Mexican blend cheese
  • 4 ounces Diced green chilies
  • 2 tablespoons Taco seasoning
  • 0.25 cups Cilantro, finely chopped
  • 1 small Onion, finely chopped
  • 1 teaspoons Garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoons Cumin
  • 0.75 teaspoons Salt
  • 0.5 teaspoons Black pepper
  • 1 cups Salsa
  • 0 as needed Non-stick cooking spray

Directions

Step 1

In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef and ground pork.

Step 2

Crack the egg into the bowl and add the panko breadcrumbs and milk. Mix until fully incorporated.

Step 3

Add the shredded Mexican blend cheese, diced green chilies, taco seasoning, cilantro, onion, garlic powder, cumin, salt, and black pepper. Mix until all ingredients are evenly distributed throughout the meat mixture.
