Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 4 medium russet potatoes
  • 4 medium carrots
  • 1 large onion
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon black pepper
  • 0.5 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 0.5 cup milk
  • 1 as needed cooking spray

Directions

Step 1

Spray the inside of a Crock Pot with cooking spray to prevent sticking.

Step 2

In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef until fully cooked. Drain any excess grease and set aside.

Step 3

Peel the potatoes and thinly slice them into rounds about 1/8-inch thick.

Step 4

Peel and thinly slice the carrots into rounds.

Step 5

Dice the onion into small pieces.

Step 6

In a small mixing bowl, whisk together the cream of mushroom soup and milk until smooth.

Start layering the ingredients in the Crock Pot as follows: Start with a layer of potatoes, lightly sprinkle with salt and pepper, then add a layer of carrots and diced onions.
