  • 0.5 cups milk
  • 1.5 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon black pepper
  • 0.5 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped (optional, for garnish)

Directions

Step 1

In a skillet over medium heat, add 1 tablespoon of olive oil and cook the ground beef until browned and fully cooked, breaking it apart with a wooden spoon. Drain any excess grease.

Step 2

Add the diced onion and minced garlic to the skillet with the beef and cook for 2-3 minutes until softened and fragrant. Set aside.

In a mixing bowl, combine the cream of mushroom soup, milk, salt, black pepper, and paprika. Stir until well mixed.

Cover the crock pot with the lid and cook on LOW for 5-6 hours or on HIGH for 3-4 hours, until the potatoes are tender and cooked through.

Once cooked, remove the lid and allow the casserole to cool slightly for 5 minutes before serving.
