  • 1 pound Great Northern beans (dry)

  • 8 cups Chicken broth
  • 2 tablespoons Parsley, chopped (optional, for garnish)

Directions

Step 1

Rinse the dry Great Northern beans under cool water and remove any debris or damaged beans.

If you have time, soak the beans overnight in a large bowl of water. Drain and rinse before using. If skipping the soaking step, increase the cooking time in the crock pot slightly.
