Ingredients

  • 2 pieces Celery stalks (chopped)
  • 1 medium Onion (diced)
  • 3 cloves Garlic cloves (minced)
  • 2 tablespoons Tomato paste
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil
  • 1 piece Bay leaf
  • 1 teaspoon Dried thyme
  • 1 teaspoon Smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh parsley (chopped, for garnish)

Directions

Step 1

Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.

Season the chicken thighs with salt and pepper. Sear them for 2-3 minutes per side until browned but not cooked through. Transfer to the crock pot.
