  • 4 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 3 tablespoons fresh chives, chopped
  • 1 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons water

Directions

Step 1

Season the chicken breasts on both sides with salt, black pepper, and garlic powder.

Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and melt the butter. Sear the chicken breasts for 2-3 minutes on each side until they are golden brown (do not cook fully). This step adds flavor to the dish.

Transfer the chicken breasts to the crock pot.
