Ingredients

  • 4 pieces boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 6 cups stuffing mix
  • 10.5 ounces cream of chicken soup
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon ground black pepper

Directions

Step 1

Spray the inside of your crock pot with non-stick cooking spray or use a disposable crock pot liner for easier cleanup.

Step 2

Place the chicken breasts in the bottom of the crock pot in a single layer. Season with garlic powder, ground black pepper, and dried parsley.

Step 3

In a medium bowl, mix together the cream of chicken soup, sour cream, and chicken broth until smooth and well blended.

Step 4

Spread the soup mixture evenly over the chicken breasts to completely cover them.

Step 5

Sprinkle the stuffing mix over the soup layer, distributing it evenly.

Step 6

Slice the butter into small pats, then dot the butter evenly over the stuffing mix.

Step 7

Cover the crock pot with the lid and cook on LOW for 4-5 hours, or until the chicken is fully cooked and tender (internal temperature should reach 165°F/74°C).

Step 8

Once done, fluff the stuffing with a fork to blend it with the juices from the crock pot.

Step 9

Serve warm and enjoy! This dish pairs well with steamed vegetables or a fresh green salad.
