Ingredients

  • 2 pounds Beef stew meat
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon Olive oil
  • 1 large Yellow onion, diced
  • 3 cloves Garlic cloves, minced
  • 16 ounces Button mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 can Cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 cup Beef broth
  • 0.5 cup Sour cream
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 12 ounces Egg noodles
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh parsley, chopped (optional)

Directions

Step 1

Season the beef stew meat with salt and black pepper.

Step 2

Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the beef pieces on all sides until browned, about 3-4 minutes per side. Remove the beef and set it aside.

Step 3

In the same skillet, sauté the diced onion and minced garlic for 2-3 minutes, until softened and fragrant.

Step 4

Add the sliced mushrooms to the skillet and cook for another 5 minutes, until they release their moisture and start to brown. Remove from heat.
