  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter (for topping)

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13-inch baking dish or line it with parchment paper.

Step 2

In a medium saucepan, melt 8 tablespoons of unsalted butter and 1.5 cups of semi-sweet chocolate chips over low heat, stirring frequently, until smooth. Remove from heat.

Stir in 1 cup of granulated sugar until fully incorporated, then mix in the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.

Add 1 cup of all-purpose flour and 1/4 teaspoon of salt to the chocolate mixture, stirring just until combined.
