Ingredients

  • 2 medium Potato
  • 1 medium Carrot
  • 0.5 cup Green peas
  • 0.5 cup Red bell pepper
  • 0.5 cup Cabbage
  • 1 small Green chili
  • 1 teaspoon Ginger garlic paste
  • 4 tablespoons All-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons Corn flour
  • 0.5 cup Bread crumbs
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 0.5 teaspoon Garam masala
  • 2 tablespoons Coriander leaves
  • 1 cup Oil

Directions

Step 1

Boil the potatoes until tender, peel, and mash them well.

Step 2

Grate the carrot, finely chop the red bell pepper, cabbage, and green chili, and set aside.

Step 3

In a large bowl, combine the mashed potatoes, grated carrot, chopped bell pepper, cabbage, green peas, and green chili.

Step 4

Add ginger garlic paste, flour, corn flour, salt, black pepper, garam masala, and coriander leaves to the vegetable mixture.

Step 5

Mix thoroughly until all ingredients are well combined. It should form a thick dough-like consistency.

Step 6

Shape the dough into small balls, approximately the size of a golf ball. Roll each ball in bread crumbs to coat evenly.

Step 7

Heat oil in a deep frying pan or pot over medium heat.

Step 8

Fry the vegetable balls in batches, making sure not to overcrowd the pan. Fry until they are golden brown and crispy, about 5-7 minutes per batch.

Step 9

Remove the fried vegetable balls with a slotted spoon and drain them on paper towels to remove excess oil.

Step 10

Serve hot with your choice of dipping sauce or chutney.
