Directions

Step 1

Drain the tofu and gently press it between paper towels or a clean kitchen towel to remove excess water. Cut the tofu into 1-inch cubes.

In a shallow bowl, combine 3 tablespoons of cornstarch, 1/2 teaspoon salt, 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder, and 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper.
