  • 3 large Russet potatoes
  • 0.5 cup All-purpose flour
  • 0.25 cup Cornstarch
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Paprika
  • 1.5 teaspoons Salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 2 large Eggs
  • 1 cup Breadcrumbs
  • 0.25 cup Grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cups Vegetable oil

Directions

Step 1

Peel the russet potatoes, rinse them under water, and cut them into small 1-inch cubes.

Add the potato cubes to a pot of cold, salted water and bring to a boil over medium heat. Cook for about 10-12 minutes, or until the potatoes are fork-tender. Drain well and let cool slightly.

Transfer the cooked potatoes to a large mixing bowl and mash them until smooth. Let the mashed potatoes cool completely.

Once cooled, sprinkle the flour, cornstarch, garlic powder, paprika, 1 teaspoon of salt, and black pepper over the mashed potatoes. Mix until a soft dough-like consistency forms.
