Ingredients

  • 2 pieces Chicken breasts
  • 1 cup All-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 0.5 teaspoon Garlic powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon Paprika
  • 2 large Eggs
  • 2 tablespoons Milk
  • 2 cups Panko breadcrumbs
  • 0.5 cup Parmesan cheese (grated)
  • 2 cups Vegetable oil (for frying)
  • 0.5 cup Mayonnaise
  • 0.25 cup Sour cream
  • 2 tablespoons Sweet chili sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Hot sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Lime juice
  • 1 tablespoon Chopped cilantro (optional)

Directions

Step 1

Slice the chicken breasts into strips approximately 1 inch wide and 3-4 inches long.

Step 2

In a shallow bowl, combine the flour, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.

Step 3

In a second shallow bowl, whisk together the eggs and milk until well blended.

Step 4

In a third shallow bowl, mix the panko breadcrumbs and grated Parmesan cheese.

Step 5

Dredge each chicken strip in the seasoned flour, shaking off any excess. Dip it into the egg mixture, and then coat it thoroughly in the panko mixture. Place the coated strips on a tray.

Step 6

Heat the vegetable oil in a deep skillet or frying pan over medium heat until it reaches 350°F (175°C).

Step 7

Fry the chicken strips in batches, ensuring not to overcrowd the pan. Cook each strip for 3-4 minutes per side or until golden brown and fully cooked. The internal temperature should reach 165°F (74°C).

Step 8

Transfer the cooked chicken strips to a plate lined with paper towels to drain any excess oil.

Step 9

To prepare the dipping sauce, mix the mayonnaise, sour cream, sweet chili sauce, hot sauce, and lime juice in a small bowl. Stir until smooth. If desired, garnish with chopped cilantro.

Step 10

Serve the crispy chicken strips while hot alongside the creamy chili dipping sauce. Enjoy!
