Ingredients

  • 400 grams Pasta (spaghetti, fettuccine, or penne)

  • 200 grams Cream cheese
  • 3 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 150 milliliters Milk
  • 50 grams Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 teaspoons Black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh parsley, chopped (optional)

Directions

Step 1

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook the pasta according to the package instructions until al dente. Reserve 1 cup of pasta water before draining.

While the pasta is cooking, heat a large pan over medium heat. Add the chopped bacon and cook until crispy, about 5-7 minutes. Remove the bacon with a slotted spoon and set aside, leaving the rendered fat in the pan.
