Ingredients

  • 1 package refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • 4 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 3 tablespoons cranberry sauce (whole berry or jellied)
  • 6 slices deli turkey, thinly sliced
  • 1 cup baby spinach leaves (optional)

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat.

Step 2

Unroll the crescent roll dough onto a clean surface, separating it into two rectangles. Press the perforations together within each rectangle to seal the seams.

Step 3

Spread softened cream cheese evenly over each rectangle of crescent dough using a spatula or butter knife.

Step 4

Evenly spread cranberry sauce on top of the cream cheese layer, leaving a small border around the edges to prevent overflow.

Step 5

Lay slices of deli turkey across the cranberry sauce layer, covering the surface. If desired, add a thin layer of baby spinach leaves on top of the turkey.

Step 6

Starting at the short end of each rectangle, tightly roll the dough into a log shape. Pinch the seam to seal securely.

Step 7

Using a sharp knife, cut each log into 8 even slices to create pinwheels.

Step 8

Arrange the pinwheels, cut side up, on the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 1 inch apart.

Step 9

Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the crescent dough is golden brown and cooked through.

Step 10

Remove from the oven and let the pinwheels cool slightly before serving. Serve warm or at room temperature.
