Ingredients

  • 1 can (8-ounce) Refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • 0.5 pound Ground beef or ground turkey
  • 1 tablespoon Taco seasoning
  • 2 tablespoons Water
  • 0.75 cup Shredded cheddar cheese
  • 0.5 cup Black beans (canned, drained and rinsed)
  • 0.5 cup Diced tomatoes
  • 0.5 cup Sour cream
  • 2 tablespoons Chopped fresh cilantro (optional for garnish)
  • 8 pieces Jalapeño slices (optional for garnish)

Directions

Step 1

Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a standard muffin tin or spray with nonstick cooking spray.

Step 2

Open the can of crescent roll dough and unroll it onto a clean surface. Separate the dough into 8 triangles.

Step 3

Press each triangle of dough into a muffin tin cup, pushing the dough up the sides to create a cup shape. Ensure there are no gaps.

Step 4

In a skillet over medium heat, cook ground beef or ground turkey until browned and fully cooked, about 5-6 minutes. Drain any excess grease.

Step 5

Stir in the taco seasoning and water. Cook for an additional 1-2 minutes until well combined and slightly thickened. Remove from heat.
