Ingredients

  • 2 pounds Large shrimp (shell-on, deveined)
  • 10 cups Water
  • 3 tablespoons Creole seasoning
  • 2 Lemon
  • 2 Bay leaves
  • 4 Garlic cloves (smashed)
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Hot sauce
  • 4 cups Ice
  • 1 cup Ketchup
  • 2 tablespoons Prepared horseradish
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon Creole seasoning (for cocktail sauce)
  • 1 teaspoon Hot sauce (for cocktail sauce)

Directions

Step 1

Fill a large pot with 10 cups of water and bring it to a boil over medium-high heat.

Step 2

Add the Creole seasoning, juice from 2 lemons (reserve the lemon halves), bay leaves, smashed garlic cloves, Worcestershire sauce, and hot sauce to the boiling water. Stir well to combine.

Add the shrimp to the pot and cook for 2-3 minutes, or until the shrimp turn pink and are fully cooked. Avoid overcooking.
