Ingredients

  • 1.5 cups heavy cream
  • 0.25 cups granulated sugar
  • 0.25 cups Crème de Menthe liqueur
  • 1 envelope unflavored gelatin
  • 2 tablespoons cold water
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 0.25 cups dark chocolate shavings
  • 1 handful fresh mint leaves (optional for garnish)

Directions

Step 1

In a small bowl, sprinkle the unflavored gelatin over the cold water and let it bloom for 5 minutes.

In a small saucepan, gently warm the bloomed gelatin over low heat until it is fully dissolved. Do not let it boil. Remove from heat and set aside to cool slightly.

In a large mixing bowl, combine the heavy cream and granulated sugar. Using an electric mixer, whip the cream on medium-high speed until soft peaks form.

Reduce the mixer speed to low and slowly pour in the dissolved gelatin, Crème de Menthe, and vanilla extract. Mix until just combined.
