  • 4 pieces boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1.5 teaspoons salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic cloves, minced
  • 14 ounces crushed tomatoes (canned)
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 2 tablespoons fresh basil leaves, chopped
  • 0.5 cup Parmesan cheese, grated

Directions

Step 1

Season both sides of the chicken breasts with 1 teaspoon of salt, 1 teaspoon of pepper, and 1 teaspoon of paprika.

Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Once hot, add the chicken breasts and cook for 5-7 minutes per side, or until golden brown and cooked through. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
