  • 4 pieces chicken breasts
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon black pepper

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 2 pieces shallots, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic cloves, minced
  • 0.5 cup dry white wine
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 0.5 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons fresh tarragon leaves, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice

Directions

Step 1

Season the chicken breasts on both sides with salt and pepper, then lightly coat them in the all-purpose flour, shaking off any excess.

Step 2

Heat the olive oil and 1 tablespoon of butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the chicken breasts and cook for 4-5 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and cooked through. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
