  • 50 grams powdered sugar
  • 30 milliliters extra virgin olive oil

  • 0.25 teaspoon salt
  • 50 milliliters water

Directions

Step 1

Begin by preheating a dry skillet over medium heat. Once hot, add the pistachios and toast them lightly for about 3-5 minutes, stirring frequently to prevent burning. This will enhance their flavor. Remove from heat and let them cool slightly.

Step 2

Transfer the toasted pistachios to a food processor. Pulse the pistachios until they are ground into a fine consistency, resembling a coarse meal.

Add the powdered sugar, salt, vanilla extract, and half of the olive oil to the food processor. Blend the mixture for about 2 minutes, stopping occasionally to scrape down the sides of the bowl.
