Ingredients

  • 200 grams Salmon fillet
  • 150 grams Cream cheese, softened
  • 50 grams Unsalted butter, softened
  • 50 grams Pistachios, shelled and roughly chopped
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon juice, freshly squeezed
  • 1 tablespoon Dill, finely chopped
  • 0.5 teaspoons Smoked paprika
  • 0.5 teaspoons Salt
  • 0.25 teaspoons Black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Olive oil
  • 500 milliliters Water

Directions

Step 1

Fill a medium saucepan with 500ml of water and bring it to a boil over medium heat. Add the salmon fillet and poach for 8-10 minutes or until cooked through. Remove the salmon and let it cool to room temperature.

Once cooled, flake the salmon into small pieces, discarding any skin or bones.

In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, butter, and lemon juice. Stir until smooth and creamy.

Add the flaked salmon, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper to the cream cheese mixture. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly combined.

Fold in the chopped pistachios and fresh dill, reserving a small amount of pistachios for garnish if desired.
