  • 400 grams Spiral pasta (fusilli)
  • 500 grams Chicken breast, boneless and skinless
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon Black pepper, freshly ground
  • 3 cloves Garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 tablespoons All-purpose flour
  • 2 cups Chicken broth
  • 1 cup Heavy cream
  • 1 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh parsley, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons Butter

Directions

Step 1

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook the spiral pasta according to package instructions, until al dente. Reserve 1/2 cup of pasta water, then drain and set aside.

While the pasta cooks, season both sides of the chicken breasts with salt and black pepper.

Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the chicken breasts and cook for 6-7 minutes per side, or until fully cooked and golden brown. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside to rest.
