  • 0.25 cup All-purpose flour
  • 6 cups Chicken or turkey stock
  • 1 cup Heavy cream
  • 8 ounces Egg noodles
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh parsley, chopped (optional)
  • 0.5 teaspoon Dried thyme
  • 1 Bay leaf
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon Black pepper

Directions

Step 1

In a large pot or Dutch oven, melt the butter and olive oil over medium heat.

Add the diced onion, carrots, and celery. Sauté for 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the vegetables are soft and fragrant.

Stir in the minced garlic and cook for another 1 minute, being careful not to let it burn.
