  • 12 oz egg noodles
  • 1 lb skinless, boneless chicken breasts

  • 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
  • 3 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1 tsp dried thyme
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 0.5 tsp black pepper
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (optional for garnish)

Directions

Step 1

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook the egg noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.

While the noodles cook, season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper on both sides.

Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil and 1 tablespoon of butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Once hot, add the chicken breasts and sear for 4-5 minutes per side, or until golden brown. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
