  • 1 cup Shredded cheddar cheese
  • 0.5 cups Grated Parmesan cheese

  • 0.25 teaspoons Black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons Chopped parsley (optional, for garnish)
  • 3 liters Water
  • 1 teaspoon Salt (for boiling water)

Directions

Step 1

Bring 3 liters of water to a boil in a large pot. Add 1 teaspoon of salt and cook the vermicelli pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain the pasta, reserving 1/4 cup of the pasta water, and set aside.
