  • 1.5 cups Mushrooms, sliced
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons All-purpose flour
  • 1.5 cups Chicken broth
  • 0.5 cup Heavy cream
  • 1 cup Frozen peas, thawed
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh parsley, chopped
  • 4 slices Bread, toasted

Directions

Step 1

Season the chicken breasts with 1/2 teaspoon of salt and 1/4 teaspoon of ground black pepper.

Step 2

Heat 1 tablespoon of butter and 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.

Step 3

Add the chicken breasts to the skillet and cook for 5-6 minutes on each side, or until fully cooked and golden brown. Remove the chicken and set aside to rest.

In the same skillet, add another 1 tablespoon of butter and the sliced mushrooms. Sauté the mushrooms over medium heat for 5-6 minutes until they are tender and lightly browned.
