  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 tbsp milk (or heavy cream)
  • 1 pinch of salt

Directions

Step 1

In a medium mixing bowl, combine softened cream cheese and unsalted butter. Using a hand mixer or whisk, beat until smooth and creamy.

Gradually add the powdered sugar, about 1/4 cup at a time, mixing well after each addition to avoid lumps.

Step 3

Add the vanilla extract, a pinch of salt, and 1 tablespoon of milk (or heavy cream). Mix until fully incorporated.

Step 4

If the glaze is too thick, add the remaining tablespoon of milk (or heavy cream), a little at a time, until the desired consistency is achieved. The glaze should be thick enough to coat the back of a spoon but thin enough to drizzle.

Step 6
