Ingredients

  • 2 pounds Russet potatoes
  • 2 teaspoons Salt
  • 3 cups Green cabbage
  • 4 tablespoons Unsalted butter
  • 0.5 cups Milk
  • 4 ounces Cream cheese
  • 3 stalks Green onions
  • 0.5 teaspoons Black pepper

Directions

Step 1

Peel and chop the potatoes into uniform chunks.

Step 2

Place the potatoes in a large pot and cover with cold water. Add 1 teaspoon of salt to the pot.

Step 3

Bring the pot to a boil over medium-high heat, then reduce to a simmer. Cook for 15-20 minutes, or until the potatoes are fork-tender.

While the potatoes are cooking, finely shred the green cabbage and set it aside.
