Ingredients

  • 1 cup Granulated sugar

  • 1 cup Canned crushed pineapple (drained)
  • 1 cup Mini marshmallows
  • 1 cup Heavy whipping cream

  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 0.5 cup Walnuts (chopped, optional)

Directions

Step 1

Rinse the fresh cranberries in cold water and pat them dry with a paper towel.

Step 2

Using a food processor, pulse the cranberries a few times until they are finely chopped. Be careful not to overprocess.

Transfer the chopped cranberries into a medium-sized bowl. Sprinkle the granulated sugar over the cranberries and mix until evenly coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours or overnight to allow the cranberries to macerate and become sweeter.
