  • 120 grams pecans (chopped)
  • 200 grams brown sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tablespoons pure maple syrup
  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour (for filling)

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x9-inch square baking pan and line it with parchment paper, leaving overhang on the sides for easy removal.

In a large mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and vanilla extract until light and fluffy.

Gradually add the all-purpose flour and salt to the butter mixture, mixing until a crumbly dough forms.
