Ingredients

  • 1 cup Fresh cranberries
  • 0.5 cup Granulated sugar
  • 4 cups Water
  • 0.75 cup Fresh lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons Honey
  • 2 cups Ice cubes
  • 4 slices Lemon slices (for garnish)
  • 4 sprigs Fresh mint leaves (for garnish)

Directions

Step 1

In a medium saucepan, combine fresh cranberries, granulated sugar, and 1 cup of water. Bring the mixture to a simmer over medium heat.

Step 2

Cook for about 10-15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the cranberries burst and the mixture thickens slightly.

Step 3

Remove the saucepan from heat and allow the cranberry mixture to cool for 5-10 minutes.

Step 4

Strain the cranberry mixture through a fine mesh sieve into a large pitcher or bowl, pressing the solids with a spoon to extract as much liquid as possible. Discard the solids.

Step 5

Add fresh lemon juice, honey, and the remaining 3 cups of water to the strained cranberry liquid. Stir well to combine.
