Ingredients

  • 1 cup Fresh cranberries
  • 2 tablespoons Brown sugar
  • 0.25 cup Orange juice
  • 0.5 teaspoon Ground cinnamon
  • 4 Tortilla wraps
  • 0.5 cup Cream cheese
  • 0.25 cup Chopped walnuts (optional)
  • 2 tablespoons Butter
  • 1 tablespoon Powdered sugar (optional, for garnish)

Directions

Step 1

In a small saucepan, combine the fresh cranberries, brown sugar, orange juice, and ground cinnamon. Cook over medium heat until the cranberries begin to pop and the mixture thickens, about 8-10 minutes. Stir occasionally. Once done, remove from heat and let it cool slightly.

Step 2

Lay out the tortilla wraps on a flat surface. Spread 2 tablespoons of cream cheese on each tortilla, covering the surface evenly.

Step 3

Spoon the cranberry mixture onto the center of each tortilla, distributing it evenly. If using walnuts, sprinkle them on top of the cranberry mixture.

Step 4

Fold the sides of the tortilla inward, then roll it tightly from the bottom to form a burrito shape. Make sure the filling is sealed inside.

Step 5

In a skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Place the burritos seam-side down in the skillet and cook for 1-2 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and crispy.

Step 6

Remove the burritos from the skillet. Optionally, garnish with a dusting of powdered sugar for a sweet finishing touch.

Step 7

Slice in half and serve warm. Enjoy your Cranberry Burritos!
