  • 2 cups boiling water
  • 1 cup cold water
  • 1 cup whole-berry cranberry sauce
  • 1 medium apple, finely chopped
  • 1 cup crushed pineapple (drained)
  • 0.5 cup chopped walnuts (optional)

Directions

Step 1

In a medium mixing bowl, dissolve the cranberry-flavored gelatin mix in 2 cups of boiling water, stirring until completely dissolved.

Step 2

Stir in 1 cup of cold water and mix well.

Step 3

Add the whole-berry cranberry sauce to the gelatin mixture and stir until fully combined.

Step 4

Allow the mixture to cool to room temperature, but do not let it set.

Step 5

Fold in the chopped apple, crushed pineapple, and chopped walnuts (if using). Mix gently until evenly distributed.

Lightly grease a 6-cup gelatin mold or bundt pan with a thin layer of neutral oil to help with unmolding later.

Pour the gelatin mixture into the prepared mold, smoothing the top with a spatula.

Step 8

Refrigerate the mold for at least 4 hours or until fully set.

Step 9

To unmold, dip the bottom of the mold into warm water for 10-15 seconds, then invert it onto a serving plate.

Step 10

Serve chilled as a delightful dessert or holiday appetizer.
