  • 0.5 cup pasta cooking water

Directions

Step 1

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the spaghetti and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Reserve 0.5 cup of the pasta cooking water, then drain the pasta and set it aside.

Step 2

In a large skillet over medium heat, melt the butter and olive oil together. Add the minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant, being careful not to let it burn.
