Ingredients

  • 2 whole (about 1.5-2 pounds each) lobster
  • 1 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 2 whole lemon
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 gallons water

Directions

Step 1

Bring 2 gallons of water and 1 teaspoon of salt to a boil in a large pot.

Prepare the lobsters by rinsing them under cold water to remove any debris.

Once the water reaches a rolling boil, carefully place the lobsters into the pot, headfirst. Cover with a lid and cook for 8-10 minutes, depending on the size of the lobsters. The shells should turn bright red when done.
