Ingredients

  • 1 sheet puff pastry sheets
  • 1 cup cooked crabmeat
  • 4 tbsp cream cheese
  • 1 stalk green onion
  • 0.25 tsp garlic powder
  • 0.5 tsp Old Bay seasoning
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tbsp water
  • 0 to taste salt
  • 0 to taste pepper

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Step 2

Thaw the puff pastry sheet according to the package instructions, if it’s frozen.

Step 3

In a medium bowl, combine the cooked crabmeat, cream cheese, finely chopped green onion, garlic powder, Old Bay seasoning, salt, and pepper. Mix well until fully incorporated.

Step 4

On a lightly floured surface, roll out the puff pastry sheet slightly to smooth the edges and make it even.

Step 5

Cut the sheet into four equal squares.

Step 6

Place a generous spoonful of the crabmeat mixture into the center of each pastry square.

Step 7

In a small bowl, whisk together the egg and water to create an egg wash.

Step 8

Brush the edges of each square with the egg wash, then fold each square into a triangle, pressing the edges together to seal tightly.

Step 9

Crimp the edges with a fork for a decorative finish, and brush the top of each puff with the remaining egg wash.

Step 10

Place the filled puffs onto the prepared baking sheet and bake for 18-20 minutes, or until the pastry is golden brown and flaky.

Step 11

Allow the puffs to cool slightly before serving. Enjoy warm!
