Ingredients

  • 400 grams spaghetti
  • 300 grams crab meat
  • 4 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil

  • 4 garlic cloves (finely minced)
  • 1 teaspoon red chili flakes
  • 1 zest of lemon
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 60 milliliters white wine (optional)
  • 3 tablespoons parsley (finely chopped)

  • 0 to taste black pepper
  • 0 to garnish parmesan cheese (optional, grated)

Directions

Step 1

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook the spaghetti according to the package instructions until al dente. Reserve 1 cup of pasta water before draining and set the pasta aside.

Step 2

While the spaghetti is cooking, heat the olive oil and butter in a large skillet over medium heat until the butter is melted.

Step 3

Add the minced garlic and chili flakes to the skillet and sauté for 1-2 minutes, or until the garlic is fragrant and golden (be careful not to burn it).

If using white wine, pour it into the skillet and let it simmer for 1-2 minutes to reduce slightly.
