Ingredients

  • 450 grams Fresh crab meat
  • 120 grams Breadcrumbs
  • 60 grams Mayonnaise
  • 2 teaspoons Dijon mustard
  • 1 large Egg
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh parsley, finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon juice
  • 2 teaspoons Old Bay seasoning
  • 0.5 teaspoons Salt
  • 0.25 teaspoons Black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil

Directions

Step 1

In a medium bowl, combine the fresh crab meat, breadcrumbs, mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, and the beaten egg.

Step 2

Add the chopped parsley, lemon juice, Old Bay seasoning, salt, and black pepper. Mix gently to avoid breaking up the crab meat.

Step 3

Using your hands, divide the mixture into 8 equal portions and gently form them into patties, about 2.5 cm thick. Place them on a plate and refrigerate for at least 20 minutes to help them hold their shape.

Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Carefully add the patties to the skillet, being sure not to overcrowd the pan.
