Ingredients

  • 454 grams Fresh lump crab meat
  • 60 grams Plain Greek yogurt
  • 120 grams Panko breadcrumbs
  • 1 large Egg
  • 15 grams Dijon mustard
  • 5 ml Worcestershire sauce
  • 15 ml Lemon juice
  • 5 grams Old Bay seasoning
  • 10 grams Fresh parsley, finely chopped
  • 20 grams Green onion, finely chopped
  • 0 Olive oil spray
  • 2 grams Salt
  • 1 gram Black pepper

Directions

Step 1

In a large mixing bowl, combine the Greek yogurt, egg, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, lemon juice, Old Bay seasoning, salt, and black pepper. Mix thoroughly until smooth.

Step 2

Gently fold in the fresh crab meat, panko breadcrumbs, chopped parsley, and green onion. Be careful not to break apart the crab meat too much.

Step 3

Using your hands, shape the mixture into 8 evenly sized patties, about 2-3 inches in diameter. Place them on a parchment-lined baking sheet or tray.

Step 4

Let the crab cakes chill in the refrigerator for 20-30 minutes to help them firm up.

Step 5

Preheat a large non-stick skillet over medium heat and lightly coat it with olive oil spray.

Step 6

Cook the crab cakes in batches, about 4-5 minutes per side, or until golden brown and heated through.

Step 7

Carefully transfer the cooked crab cakes to a serving plate. Serve immediately with lemon wedges or your favorite light dipping sauce.
