Ingredients

  • 200 grams fresh crab meat
  • 2 pieces ripe avocado
  • 1 piece ripe mango
  • 1 piece lime
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons fresh cilantro
  • 1 stalk green onion
  • 0.5 teaspoons salt
  • 0.25 teaspoons black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

Directions

Step 1

In a small bowl, combine the crab meat with mayonnaise, finely chopped green onion, 1 tablespoon of freshly chopped cilantro, a pinch of salt and black pepper. Mix gently to avoid breaking up the crab meat too much. Set aside.

Step 2

Peel and pit the avocados. Dice the avocado into small cubes and place in another bowl. Squeeze half a lime over the avocado to prevent browning, add a pinch of salt, and toss gently.

Step 3

Peel the mango and dice it into small cubes, approximately the same size as the avocado. Place in a separate bowl and toss with 1 tablespoon of olive oil and a squeeze of lime juice for added flavor.

Step 4

To assemble the stack, use a 3-inch metal ring mold (or create a mold using a cleaned can with both ends removed). Place the mold on your serving plate.

Step 5

Spoon a layer of mango into the mold, pressing it down gently with the back of a spoon to create an even layer.

Step 6

Next, add a layer of avocado on top of the mango, again pressing gently to form an even layer.

Step 7

Finally, layer the seasoned crab meat on top of the avocado, pressing gently to keep the stack stable.

Step 8

Carefully lift the mold off the stack, ensuring the layers remain intact.

Garnish with a sprinkle of chopped cilantro and an additional squeeze of lime juice if desired. Serve immediately and enjoy!
