Ingredients

  • 16 oz lump crab meat
  • 14 oz artichoke hearts (canned, drained, and chopped)
  • 8 oz cream cheese (softened)
  • 0.75 cup mayonnaise
  • 0.5 cup sour cream
  • 0.5 cup Parmesan cheese (grated)
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese (shredded)
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 tsp Old Bay seasoning
  • 0.5 tsp paprika
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley (chopped, for garnish)
  • 0.5 cup bread crumbs (optional, for topping)
  • 1 tbsp olive oil (optional, for drizzling)

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

Step 2

In a large mixing bowl, combine the cream cheese, mayonnaise, sour cream, and lemon juice. Stir until smooth and well mixed.

Step 3

Add the Parmesan cheese, 1/2 cup of the shredded mozzarella, Old Bay seasoning, garlic, and paprika. Mix thoroughly.

Step 4

Gently fold in the lump crab meat and chopped artichoke hearts, being careful not to break up the crab meat too much.

Step 5

Pour the mixture into a greased 9x13-inch casserole dish and spread it out evenly.

Step 6

If using bread crumbs, mix them with the olive oil and sprinkle evenly over the top of the casserole.

Step 7

Top the casserole with the remaining 1/2 cup of shredded mozzarella cheese.

Step 8

Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the top is bubbly and golden brown.

Step 9

Remove the casserole from the oven and let it cool for 5 minutes before serving.

Step 10

Garnish with fresh parsley and serve warm. Enjoy!
