Prepare the seasoned flour by combining 2 cups of all-purpose flour, 1 teaspoon salt, 1 teaspoon black pepper, 1 teaspoon paprika, 1 teaspoon onion powder, and 1 teaspoon garlic powder in a shallow dish. Mix well.
In another shallow dish, whisk together 1 cup of buttermilk and 2 large eggs to create the wet mixture.
Pat the cube steaks dry with a paper towel. Dip each steak into the flour mixture, shaking off the excess. Then dip it into the buttermilk-egg mixture, allowing the excess to drip off, and return it to the flour mixture for a second coating. Press the flour onto the steaks to create a thick crust.
